REIUS. has advised Wilmington Trust as trustee on the financial restructuring of the major Berlin construction project “F\u00fcrst”. F\u00fcrst is a project on Berlin’s Kurf\u00fcrstendamm, on the site of the former Kudamm-Karree. In 2021, the project was acquired by the Aggregate Group, accompanied by financing totalling over one billion euros. Increased construction costs triggered a discussion about the future of one of the capital’s largest construction projects. As part of the restructuring, a new financing structure was put in place which, among other things, will enable the provision of fresh money to continue construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
